Join Luster Fjordhytters on an adventurous trip in the heart of the Sognefjorden. Here you can explore the beautiful fjord just as you like, accompanied by Luster Fjordhytter's experienced and locally known skipper.
You get to experience a wonderful landscape. With a boat on the Lustrafjorden you get to experience nature and culture in a completely unique way. Driving under high mountains and into the deepest fjords. The boatman has many great stories and local knowledge to share with you. Seeing Sognefjorden and Luster from the sea is an experience not to be forgotten, and a tailor-made trip here can become the holiday you talk about for years.
The most popular tour starts in Høyheimsvik, Luster. We start off calmly so that everyone has time to settle down and familiarize themselves with the boat. Gradually we increase the speed somewhat, but we stop along the way for the various attractions. On the way to Molden we pass the fjord towards Jostedalen, with Hest and the glacier Såta in the background. After that we head to beautiful Kroken and Munthehuset, here there is a lot of cultural history that is very interesting. The walk towards Feigefossen gives a view into the Lustrafjorden and we drive all the way in until we get Harastølen in the binoculars. If we are lucky enough, we can see some of the exotic wildlife that the fjord has to offer, seals, porpoises or even eagles.

Mange har nok sett både større og finare hytter, men dei fungerer godt, og erfaringa tilseier at gjestene uansett nyttar det meste av tida si i Luster til å sjå seg om på alle attraksjonane området har å by på, og ikkje til å liggja inne på hytta heile dagen. Dei fleste tek korte dagsturar til fjord, dal, fjell og bre, men nokre finn på å reisa med bilen langt inn i Jotunheimen, til turistmagneten Geiranger, til Flåm for å følgja den berømde jernbana der eller heilt til byen vår, Bergen, som ligg vel fire timars køyring og 260 kilometer unna ute mot kysten.
Hytteanlegga ligg 60-70 meter frå kvarandre med ein vakker strandpromenade med benker mellom. Frå benkene kan ein nyta utsynet til, og høyra dundringa frå ein av landets høgaste og finaste fossar - Feigefossen - som ligg rett over på andre sida av fjorden og kastar seg loddrett 218 meter ut frå dalen over.
Hyttene som er nummerete frå 1 til 8 ligg i andre etasje med veranda rett ut mot fjorden. Der er plass til fem personar. Det er eitt soverom med to enkle senger og ein hems med stige opp langs veggen til tre luftige soveplassar. Hytta inneheld kombinert stove og kjøkken, dusj og toalett, og totalt har gjestene til disposisjon om lag 38 godt utnytta kvadratmeter.
Hyttene frå 9 til 12 er noko større og ligg på bakkenivå. Ein kjem inn i ein gang med soverom for to på eine sida og dusj/WC på den andre. Ut mot fjorden er det kombinert stove og kjøkken, og går ein vidare ut på verandaen, kan ein hoppa rett uti Lustrafjorden! Frå stova er det trapp opp i andre etasje, der det er soverom med ei dobbeltseng og ei enkeltseng. Her har gjestene om lag 45 kvadratmeter totalt til disposisjon.
Those who holiday using Luster Fjord Huts as their base, have plenty to fill their days. Most people choose to take car trips along the fjord, into the surrounding valleys and up into the mountains. All places where nature is most impressive – you’ll love it!
Luster and its surroundings, with its rich cultural history, has much to offer. Many have heard of Urnes Stave Church: dating from about 1130 it is the oldest in the country and famous throughout the world. It can be seen on the other side of the fjord from the cabins and makes an excellent objective for a day trip, either using the ferry from Solvorn or by driving north-east along the fjord to Skjolden and taking the fjordside road on the other side, a stretch called the "romantic road" by many and where there is much to see along the way.

Luster Fjordhytter er drevet av Øystein Magnus Tveit. Øystein tok over fra Stein Bugge Næss som bygget opp og drev Luster Fjordhytter fra 1987 to 2021.
